Meet Jona
Professional Counselor Associate
I know what it is like to feel overwhelmed, to have trouble sleeping because your nervous system will not calm down, and to feel like you cannot fully be your authentic self in your community. Those experiences matter to the way I show up as an associate counselor.
My work is grounded in that kind of reality. I help clients build practical coping skills, work through life transitions, and make sense of the struggles that leave them feeling stuck, disconnected, or exhausted. Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, centered on unpacking what's been weighing you down, and creating a space where you can show up as your authentic self.
Whether you are dealing with constant stress, an overloaded mind, or the feeling that you have lost touch with yourself somewhere along the way, we can work together to untangle what is going on and help you move toward a steadier, more grounded life.
If you are looking for a place to get your bearings, sort through your struggles, and feel more like yourself again, I would be happy to connect.

Qualifications
I am a Professional Counselor Associate. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Oregon University and have received training in supporting clients through stress, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, personal growth and much more.
As an associate, I value ongoing learning, collaboration, and ethical care, and I work closely with a licensed supervisor to help ensure thoughtful, effective support for the clients I serve. My approach is integrative, person-centered, and relational, with Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, mindfulness-based, and insight-oriented influences.
